Travel Note
All passengers are required to fill out an E-Ticket or a paper form when entering/exiting the Dominican Republic. If you are using an E-Ticket, a new form is required for each entry & exit, and the code generated upon form completion can be presented at the airport on a cell phone. The E-Ticket can be filled out a maximum of 72 hours prior to your travel.
Hotel
If you are planning to stay at the resort and have not yet booked your room, please reach out to Rene Wills at rwills@destinationweddings.com or 919-422-0889! Pro tip: if you find a less expensive price for the room online, you can email Rene with snips of the competitor's pricing for the exact dates, room type & total number of guests so she can coordinate a possible price-match with the resort. Please confirm with Haley & Henry if you are planning to stay elsewhere so we can ensure you are included in headcounts for the ceremony & reception! Any guests who do not stay at the resort are required to obtain a day pass for the day of the wedding.
Flight
When booking your flight, look for the PUJ airport code! Google Flights says that the best prices for flights are going to be closer to November ;) Please know that you will need a valid passport that has an expiration date of more than six (6) months after your travel in order to book your flight. We recommend you check your passport and submit applications for any updates at your earliest opportunities to prevent any delays or issues.
Travel Note
Check with your current cell phone provider about their international roaming plans and fees for the Dominican Republic. Some plans allow you to simply place your phone on airplane mode and still utilize Wi-Fi & apps like WhatsApp.
