Henry & Haley were two people doing what any single person would do in the middle of a global pandemic: join a dating app! They both experienced their fair share of disappointment & frustration swiping left and right trying to make a connection, but thankfully for them, they eventually both swiped right on each other and started talking. Each conversation made them more and more interested, and after a few weeks they decided to finally meet in person on the rooftop of Lynnwood Grill & Brewing Company. While it was a wonderful first date, Haley knew she needed to make sure her heart was ready before deciding to move forward. After taking some time, Haley reached back out to Henry and thankfully, he replied back. From that point on, they were practically inseparable.
Over the past four years, Henry & Haley have enjoyed multiple road trips that turn into one-woman concerts by Haley, hosting gatherings with their friends and loved ones, and planning out their future together. One of those road trips was to attend the wedding of a cousin of Haleys, and after that trip, Henry & Haley started thinking more seriously about their next step as a couple. Keeping things a surprise is not either of Haley or Henry's strong suit, so they started looking at rings for one another and coming up with ideas of when to pop the question... It was a very cold weekend in the National Harbor in Maryland - Henry & Haley were with their friends at MAGfest and decided to set aside some time for just the two of them. After lunch, with ring boxes in both of their pockets, they went for a walk by the river to the ferris wheel to escape the bitter cold and wind. Haley and Henry entered the pod, and before the ferris wheel finished its first rotation, Henry got down on one knee and grabbed Haley's hand, asking her to marry him. Haley - to no one's surprise - gave a tearful and resounding "YES"! When the ring was on Haley's hand, she then pulled out the ring box for Henry, got down on one knee and asked him to marry him. Thankfully for Haley, he also said "yes"!
