What Can I Wear?

Answer

Both events have a type of dress code. For Friday, at the temple sealing, we ask you wear "Sunday dress" or semi-formal attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome and so are suits and cocktail dresses. The Saturday reception, we ask you wear formal, black tie - optional attire. Tuxes and gowns are preferred but not required. To preserve the colors worn by the Bride and Groom, Ladies are not to wear any white, cream, ivory, or any other color that can be mistaken for white. For men's suits, we ask you avoid wearing any green colored suits. If you have any further questions - feel free to ask us directly!

What is a Temple Sealing?

Answer

"In our Heavenly Father’s plan of happiness, a husband and wife can be together forever. The authority to unite families forever is called the sealing power. It is the same power that Jesus gave to His Apostles during His ministry on earth (Matthew 16:19). An eternal marriage is therefore called a sealing. Children born or adopted into such eternal marriages can also be sealed to their families forever. A husband and wife who are sealed in the temple make sacred covenants with the Lord and with each other. These covenants assure them that their relationship will continue after this life if they are true to their commitments. They know that nothing, not even death, can separate them."

Why can't I RSVP to the Sealing?

Answer

Please note that we are not collecting RSVPs for the sealing ceremony. The RSVP is only for the reception. Due to space and access constraints, we will be inviting close family members to accompany us inside the temple to attend our sealing. Please feel welcome to join us for pictures and celebration outside as we exist as eternal companions!

Please submit your RSVP by Friday, January 31st, 2025. We need to be sure to be able to provide the information to our venue in order to secure seating and dinner.

We unfortunately do not have space for dates or plus ones at our reception at this time. Those listed by name on the invitation are the seats we have saved for your party.
