We met at a combined church youth activity at the home of one of the leaders. The girls were preparing for a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed event and recruited the help of the boys with making props.  As we were doing all these arts and crafts, our friend groups were close enough to each other that the conversations joined (Ariana just had to say something). We thought we were cool enough to be friends and made a fun friend group. If we wanted to be accurate, the first time we came across each other was many years ago when the Coupe family first moved into the same congregation as the Dominguez family back when Henry was around 6 years old. We were babies and didn't properly know each other at that time at all. The Coupes moved out and eventually had to return to Virginia where we stopped being background characters for each other. We haven't stopped talking since.
