FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Deadline to RSVP is July 1st, no later. We must ensure guest count for the vendors, so we will be unable to take late responses.

Question

What is the dress code? Theme?

Answer

The "theme" of the reception is going to be a gentle nod to 1920's Art Deco style, as we both love the video game Bioshock! The wedding dress is a vintage dress from the 1950's as well. For this reason we'd prefer to see guests dress up in semi-formal attire, but as long as you're dressing comfortably for the summer heat we're happy!

Question

What colors should I avoid wearing?

Answer

Avoid white. The color scheme of the wedding party is eucalyptus, quartz, and chianti. Visual examples of the colors can be found on David's Bridal's website.

Question

Can I bring someone?

Answer

Plus ones are encouraged! However, as there will be alcohol present and many of our guests are driving in, this event will be child-free. Parents, enjoy your night.

Question

I have dietary restrictions. What can I eat?

Answer

The vendors we've decided to book offer food options for those with food allergies, gluten free, and vegan diets are also being considered. Please contact Liz or Vinny before July 1st to ensure we have a correct list of needs to communicate to vendors. After July 1st this webpage will be updated with the available options for all needs communicated to us!

Question

I see two entrances to the venue. Where do I go?

Answer

In order to find the venue it's most convenient to use the driveway on Broadview Rd., directly next door to a small Giant Eagle. We advise against using the driveway on Oviatt Rd., as you'll be parking on the backside of the property, which will require a lot of walking to find us!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Coming from the entrance on Broadview Rd., you will follow the long driveway through the woods. At the end of the driveway are two parking lots; guests will park in the larger lot on the left. The smaller lot on the right is reserved for property volunteers and employees.

Question

Where is the registry?

Answer

We've decided, in lieu of gifts, we would rather have a card box present for the ceremony. We're very comfortable in the apartment together, but we'd be extremely grateful for any contributions toward buying our first home!
