We're getting married!

Heng and Vi's story started in 2017 at work. Heng was brave and found Vi's name on Facebook to introduce himself after noticing her from afar. From there, they quickly became friends, flirting over their lunch breaks. Vi then left the pharmacy to go to school and later start a job in the government. To her surprise, Heng found her and messaged her again, this time through the work chat system as he had also joined the government recently too! From there, they were able to continue building their friendship and continue meeting up for lunch breaks. It wasn't until the summer of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, that the stars aligned. Vi messaged Heng this time to go on a date and they finally got together! They spent the pandemic years staying in, learning to cook (see: their short-lived food instagram hevi.eats), and going on socially-distanced bike rides and walks. Once the world opened back up, they were able to start travelling and spending time with their friends and family. Finally, after 3 and a half years of dating, and 7 years of friendship, Heng proposed to Vi on April 5, 2024. And she said YES!
