Savannah and I met Freshman year of college at Christopher Newport University as random roommates in 2017. I would go with Savannah to many of her horse shows and watched her compete. My nickname was "Boot B****." We have also spent many late nights at PBR in Hampton over the years. Our favorite thing to do together in college was squeeze into Savannah's bed, eat cookie dough out of the container, and watch tv shows/movies.

Most famous for signing off on a disciplinary report in lieu of Scott's Parents (Shhhh..) or the OBVIOUS protagonist of the many many brotherly fights... you can't separate family! Chloe and I have been friends since Kindergarten at New Covenant Schools. We have bonded over us both being adopted and having ADHD/ADD. We had so many inside jokes that we can still recite to this day. We kept in touch after New Covenant and have spent time on the river together and gone to PBR in Hampton. I was also in the room with her when she had her baby Jaxon. I love being his Auntie Laura!

Code Name: The B**** Andrew and Scott met in 2018 at college through pickup soccer. They played pickup soccer almost 2-3 times a week, but did not even speak to each other until months later when they realized they lived across the hall from each other. Ashley and I were suite mates Sophomore year of college at Christopher Newport University. We met in the Spring of Freshman year at a housing meeting. Her and her roommate (Michaela) were in front of Savannah and I and we heard them say they didn't have anyone to have as suite mates. So Savannah and I talked with them and we decided to live together! Ashley has braved very cold nights with me so I wouldn't be alone in the dark taking pictures of the moon. We also made a lot of late night Cook Out Milkshake runs. Ashley is obviously the reason Scott and I got together, because Scott and I both knew Ashley and wanted to sit near her.
Duncan Newman

Code Name: The Follower Duncan and Scott are first cousins separated by only 2 months. Once inseparable when they got together as kids, they grew apart when Scott moved away from the Hampton Roads when they were 8. After Scott committed to CNU first, Duncan decided to follow and commit as well. They reunited at college, and ended up being suitemates their sophomore year. Many late nights, random challenges, and random classes together. Find Duncan if you want a jack of all trades storytime!

Bayley and I met our first year of teaching when I was placed in 4th grade (after I taught Kindergarten for a month). Our rooms were right next to each other and we could hear each other sneeze during planning time, so we'd yell "Bless you!" through the wall. We have spent many nights playing Mario Party and having dinner together. I have loved being in her son Cooper's life and being Aunt Laura to him!

Code Name: The "Athlete" Scott and Jake met in 2012 when they were in Middle School. Two years apart, the 8th grade Scott terrorized Jake on the football field and the basketball court. Well, Scott still terrorizes Jake actually. Two years later Jake started playing Tennis and the two of them became frequent hitting partners. Although Scott always beats him so we're not really clear on the benefit. (Come to think of it Scott is just so awesome). They've kept in touch and in between college years they have done many random sports challenges and workouts together. Find Jake if you want a good California Burrito. And some stories I Guess.

I played on Michaela's Intramural Volleyball team Senior year of college. We'd get lunch together at Chipotle regularly. Michaela is obviously the reason Scott and I got together, because we both came to Michaela's Birthday Party at Olive Garden.
