FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 8, 2026. Any responses not received by this date will be marked as “no” to assist us with final planning.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The attire is semiformal garden party. Please see the dress code vision board on the 'Details' tab. Ladies: Pastels, bold, bright colors, florals, textures, patterns encouraged. Think playful, polished, and dancing shoes. The celebration is on grass - block heels, wedges, flats, or dressy sandals are recommended. Gentlemen: Collared shirts required. Suits or sport coats in breathable fabrics are encouraged. Black, navy, and lighter tones are all welcome. Please avoid jeans and ball caps.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The celebration begins at 5:30 PM. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time for parking, getting settled, and grabbing a drink before the couple's grand entrance begins at 6:00 PM.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available on the property. Golf cart shuttles will also be provided.

Question

Where is the celebration being held?

Answer

The celebration will be held at 12981 Edwards Road, Johnstown, Ohio 43031, at Claire’s grandfather’s home. The entire celebration will take place outdoors, on grass, under a tent. Please plan accordingly and check the weather as the date approaches.

Question

What will the celebration be like?

Answer

While we are skipping a traditional ceremony, we will still have some traditional wedding moments. Our main focus is spending quality time with our friends and family while enjoying great food, drinks, music, and celebrating together!

Question

Why aren’t you having a ceremony?

Answer

We’ve chosen to celebrate our vows more intimately. We will be having a private ceremony on Block Island, Rhode Island, where we’ll exchange vows surrounded by our closest family. This felt like the most meaningful way for us to start our marriage, while still celebrating in a way that feels relaxed and true to who we are.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Please note the reception will be adults only. Due to the outdoor setting of a private residence and the presence of a pond, we are unable to safely accommodate children at the reception. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating together.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space and planning considerations, only guests named on the invitation are invited. We appreciate your understanding and help with this.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

For hotel block details, booking links, and additional travel information, please review the 'Travel' tab.
