The White Isle is known for its beach clubs ranging from barefoot & boho to bougie & over the top. Here are a few of our favorite places to lay out all day: Cala Comte & Sunset Ashram One of the most beautiful beaches on the island with crystal clear water and views of tiny offshore islands. Sunset Ashram is perfect for a long late-afternoon lunch that turns into sunset cocktails and music. Come for a swim, stay for golden hour. Cala Bassa Beach Club A classic Ibiza beach day: clear turquoise water, comfortable loungers, and good food. Easy, fun, and great if you want a full-service beach club day without it feeling too intense. Blue Marlin More elevated and stylish — think incredible seafood, beautiful setting, and a very chic crowd. Great for a long lunch that turns into an afternoon by the water. Cala Gracioneta A tiny cove with a restaurant tucked into the rocks. It feels intimate and very Ibiza. Reservations are essential and fill quickly.
Set aside an evening to wander Ibiza Old Town. Walk up through the cobblestone streets into the historic fortress, explore small boutiques and galleries, and stop for dinner in one of the garden restaurants tucked inside the walls. The views at sunset and after dark are beautiful. For a great view of the old town, stop by the Standard Hotel for a cocktail on their rooftop bar.
If you have an extra day, we highly recommend taking the ferry to Formentera, a smaller island just south of Ibiza with some of the clearest water in the Mediterranean. Ferries run frequently from Ibiza Town and take about 30–45 minutes. You can walk onto the ferry or bring a rental car/bike depending on how much exploring you want to do. Once there, spend the day beach-hopping or simply settle in for a long lunch by the water. Two favorite spots: Beso Beach – relaxed, fun, and perfect for rosé and dancing after lunch. Juan y Andrea – iconic beachfront restaurant known for seafood and a beautiful setting in the dunes. Make lunch reservations in advance, especially in summer. Plan to stay for a few hours and catch an afternoon ferry back.
A beach sunset in Ibiza is a spiritual experience & not to be missed. Here are our two favorite spots: Benirràs Beach (Sunday evenings especially) A bohemian north-coast beach where people gather to watch the sun set with live drumming and dancing. It’s relaxed, spiritual, and very Ibiza. Come early, bring a towel, and stay through sunset. Don't forget to check out the hippie market while you're waiting for the sun to go down! Sunset Ashram (Cala Comte) The undisputed best sunset spot on the island. Book a dinner reservation around 7 PM, settle in with a drink, and watch the sky turn pink over the water. It’s lively but still relaxed!
Ibiza’s markets are part of the island’s creative spirit and reflect its long-standing hippie and artistic culture. Las Dalias Market in particular is one of Ibiza's most iconic gathering spots, having been a hub for the island’s bohemian community since the 1960s and 70s. Today it hosts one of the island’s best-known markets, with jewelry, clothing, art, live music, and food. Sunday nights are especially fun, with a lively night market atmosphere under the lights.
La Escollera – Incredible seafood right on the beach. Perfect for a long, relaxed lunch by the water. Get the paella! La Brasa – A romantic garden restaurant tucked into Ibiza Old Town. Great for dinner after exploring the fort. Aubergine by Atzaró – Beautiful countryside setting with fresh, seasonal food. Chiringuito Cala Xuclar – This was one of the best meals we’ve had - ever. It’s a tiny, rustic beach shack on a secluded cove serving incredibly fresh seafood and simple grilled fish done perfectly. If you love seafood, you have to go. Reservations are mandatory and it’s a bit off the beaten path, but it’s absolutely worth it.
