We did not reserved a block of rooms at any hotel. Due to the significant supply of lodging in Austin, we have been advised that it is actually more cost effective for guests to book on their own- you are likely to get a lower rate when compared to the cost with room block pricing. No! We focused on downtown hotels close to the events and some with unique character, but if you find one that works better for you, don’t hesitate to book it! Our wedding weekend coincides with UT graduation, so downtown hotels may fill up. That said, Austin isn’t a huge city—most hotels, even outside downtown, are just a quick Uber or taxi ride away. We chatted with several hotel managers who told us they don't expect to come close to capacity. I-35 traffic can be unpredictable, so give yourself plenty of time if you decide to stay outside of downtown and you’re headed to an event or catching the shuttle. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We will provide transportation shuttles from the Austin Marriott Downtown to bring you to the venue and back at the end of the evening. Four shuttles will arrive at the hotel at 3:15pm and begin loading from 3:20pm-3:45pm. They will park along San Jacinto & the valet staff at the Marriott can help direct if needed. Travel time can vary from 30–45 minutes depending on traffic and weather. If you'd like to drive into downtown then catch the shuttle, there is a public parking garage one block away at the Line hotel on Cesar Chavez. You are more than welcome to utilize a taxi service/Uber/Lyft or drive yourself. If you plan to drive yourself, there is plenty of parking on site however please ensure your vehicle is not left overnight. The venue does not allow overnight parking.
Shuttles will be available at the end of the night to return to the Austin Marriott Downtown or to The Eleanor for the after party! One shuttle departs at 9:30pm for the Austin Marriott Downtown. The remaining 3 shuttles will depart at the conclusion of the reception at 11:00pm. Two shuttles will go to The Eleanor and one to the Austin Marriott Downtown. The shuttles will be clearly marked and staff will help direct. The venue has confirmed Uber and Lyft are easily available at the end of the night as well. They have mentioned it can take about 25 minutes for ride shares to arrive in the evening, therefore scheduling a car for pick up can save you time!
Our wedding has a cocktail attire dress code. Please be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately for the day. For reference, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors on the lawn and on pavers/gravel, respectively. Dinner and the reception will be indoors. May in Texas can be unpredictable and we have options to include if it is exceptionally hot and a plan B if needed. Feel free to wear something comfortable but chic for an evening of dancing and celebration!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. so please aim to arrive at least 30 minutes early to find parking, grab a drink, and settle in.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We hired an incredible team of photographers and videographers to capture every moment and we'll share those with you afterwards! However, feel free to snap away once the ceremony is finished! We would love to see the pictures captured from our guests point of view.
Yes! There is plenty of parking available at the venue. Please plan accordingly to ensure your vehicle is not left overnight. The venue does not allow overnight parking.

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration. We hope this will give everyone the chance to relax and have a great time!
