From March 5th to June 2nd, EPCOT will host the Flower & Garden Festival—Mackenzie’s personal favorite! Instead of dining at a restaurant, explore the festival booths for small bites and enjoy the beautiful Disney topiaries along the way. And while you’re at EPCOT, don’t forget to join the 7 AM Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Tron Lightcycle Run are two of Addison’s recent projects with Walt Disney Imagineering! To make the most of your day, join the Virtual Queue for Tiana’s at 7 AM and Tron at 1 PM. Pro tip: skip breakfast in the park and make a reservation at one of the Magic Kingdom Resorts instead. Then, take the monorail to the park—no parking fees required!
One of our favorite lounges and a hidden gem at Walt Disney World, the Scat Cat Club offers live jazz performances starting at 7:30 PM on Fridays through Sundays. If you’re visiting with a large group, we recommend arriving early to snag the best seats. For dessert, be sure to order the specialty Mickey-shaped beignets!
While in Florida, don’t miss the chance to visit Universal and experience the magic of Harry Potter! If you’re planning to park hop, you’ll get to explore both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. But if you’re visiting just one park, we recommend Islands of Adventure. It’s home to our favorite ride, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, as well as other thrilling attractions like the VelociCoaster and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.
Looking for a uniquely Florida experience? Gatorland is the place to be! This quirky attraction offers up-close encounters with Florida’s famous reptiles, including a chance to wrestle an alligator (if you’re feeling brave!). It’s one of the most Florida things you can do—and a must-visit for animal lovers and adventure seekers alike.
If you’re staying near our venue and prefer a serene escape to the hustle of theme parks, visit Bok Tower Gardens! With its neo-Gothic Singing Tower, lush landscapes, and rolling hills, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Fun fact: during our visit, we joked about being at the highest point in Florida—and we were close! Most of the highest points are along Lake Wales Ridge, with Iron Mountain boasting an elevation of 298 feet above sea level.
