We met while Nick happened to be visiting his friend Evan, in DC. If we didn't mention that, we would be hearing from Evan immediately. But when Helen then moved out of DC to New York City in Fall 2022, she reached out to Nick again. She thought it was just a friendly hang out but Nick claims it was always a date. Either way, that first date turned into a second date and so on and so on. We got engaged during a weekend away in Hudson, NY after a lovely "hike" to a waterfall. Nick somehow managed to surprise Helen with the proposal but of course it was an easy answer. Now, in true Helen fashion, we are doing this thing in just 8 months! We can't wait to be with you all to celebrate our wedding!!! See you soon!
