Ksamil
An undiscovered gem of a beach town, Ksamil has plenty to offer whether that’s relaxing beachside in a lounge chair, popping into cute shops, or enjoying a few cold ones on a rooftop bar. Ksamil is easy to get a taxi to from Sarandë!
Gjirokastër
About an hour and a half from Sarandë, you can find yourself in an entirely different place. With its beautiful architecture and cobblestone streets, Gjirokaster is absolutely worth seeing. Check out the old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and enjoy the mountain views for miles.
Butrint National Archaeological Park
This National Park is located only 20 minutes away from Sarandë. There are various monuments, artifacts, and structures to see and learn about. This is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Corfu
Just a short ferry ride away, Corfu is just one of Greece’s beautiful islands. Be sure to bring your passport with you if you choose to travel to Corfu, and enjoy the vibrant town across the Ionian Sea!
