Helena and Domenique met when they were young kids at soccer camp. Helena was terrified of Domenique's big glaring eyes, and Domenique thought Helena was mute. They met again in the 8th grade and the two became friends when they bonded over their failed grades on their history test, and have been best friends ever since. They can always guarantee a good laugh, meaningful and inspiring conversations about God and religion, and mystery road trips where they don't know where the other one is taking them--and sometimes neither of them end up knowing. Luke and Joe met at the Freshman dance at Franciscan University, just days before the semester started. They quickly became good friends and have since spent the years going to Taco Bell, playing darts, and generally being all around silly boys.

Helena and Katie are best friends first, and cousins second. They have had the blessing of watching each other grow up and have wonderful memories attending Junior Theater camp and always putting on performances for their families because they wanted to be singers. And well let's face it--they're still waiting to be quietly singing along to a song in a grocery store until a woman with a business card picks them up in the milk aisle to sign a record deal. (If you or anyone you know is hiring back-up singers for Beyoncé, please let the bride know before, during, or after the wedding ceremony). Katie and Helena are the epitome of built in best friends!

Miguel never told Joe that his sister was super awesome and single; this knowledge would have been appreciated and really sped up the whole process. When Miguel and Joe first met, they immediately began talking as if they were old friends who were separated for too long and have only become better friends, despite Helena's best efforts to kidnap Joe for herself.

Ever since becoming Catholic and returning to school in Boulder, it was difficult for Helena to find a good Catholic friend group and community. When she started attending Sacred Heart of Mary in Boulder, Nohemi was quick to introduce herself, make Helena feel included, and even offer her rides home because she didn't have a car. They grew their friendship quickly, and to this day Nohemi has been a dear friend. She is an incredible mother to her four boys, wife to her lovely husband, and friend to Helena. Having Nohemi be one of her bridesmaids is a great blessing, and so is Nohemi!
Stephan Williams

Stephan is Joe's only younger brother and they have become much closer over the last few years. While Stephan really likes CSGO, he still has much to learn in the ways of Starcraft, so please be patient with him.

Lauren is like the sibling Helena never had. I mean...sister! Lauren is a stylish, sassy, beautiful, and not to mention a hilarious woman. Helena was so excited the first time she got to meet the woman who she knew to love Lana Del Ray, and always make Helena laugh from her funny tweets. Since getting to know each other, Lauren and Helena have shared many great laughs. Helena cannot wait to see what God has in store for the sisters' friendship!

Being roommates, Vinny and Joe bonded over many things, including their love of the Last of Us, and their hatred of The Last of Us Part 2. If you didn't live in a house in the bad part of town and hear gunshots almost every night then you did college wrong.

Georgia and Helena met not too long ago when they were sophomores in college. They both hated their living situations at the time and eventually got placed to live with each other. Georgia and Helena both ascribe to the correct political party, which, to Helena's offense, took Georgia by surprise. COVID hit when they had only been roommates for a short period of time, and Helena was sad to have to say goodbye to her new close friend. They stayed in touch and when seeing each other years later for graduation, it was as if they never spent a moment apart. Helena is so excited for you all to meet Georgia!

Andrew is one of Joe's current roommates and can be frequently found sharing memes, quotes from Matt Walsh or Michael Knowles, and very delicious brownies. Maybe if he plays his cards right, Joe will give him the quesadilla chicken marinade recipe he so desperately craves.

Chloe and Avery are Helena's cousin's one removed. Helena's cousin, Nicki, asked Helena to be her flower girl, and now Helena has the pleasure of having Nicki's daughters, be hers! They are very sweet young girls that are very fun to be around. We can't wait for all of you to meet them!
Mateo Williams

Mateo is one of Joe's nephews. He is so much fun to play with and he loves watching his uncle Joe play video games! Helena had lots of fun playing with Mateo and watching him catch fireflies on the Fourth of July. We are so excited to have him be our ring bearer!
