I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please make sure to note any allergies that you may have in your RSVP card when those are mailed out - our caterer is very accommodating when it comes to special requests. For reference, our menu items include: Short Rib, Salmon or a Quinoa Vegetable dish

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at Hotel Zachary & Hotel Lincoln so check out our "accommodations" page for direct links to book your room. We'll be staying at Hotel Zachary, but there are also a variety of airbnb & VRBO options throughout the city - we'd recommend looking at places in Lakeview, Lincoln Park or Ravenswood.

I booked a room at one of your hotel blocks for your 2020 date, do I need to rebook my room for your 2021 date?

Answer

Hotel Zachary has agreed to transfer your room to next year without any issues so you should be all set. Unfortunately, if you booked a room at Hotel Lincoln you'll have to rebook your room using the link or calling the hotel.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We are only offering a shuttle from Hotel Zachary with a drop off at Artifact Events starting at 6 pm and it will be ready to take guests back to the hotel from the reception starting at 11 pm, 11:40 pm and 12:45-1 am. Lyft/Ubers are also easy to request from our venues and both of our venues offer free parking lots for our guests.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures around the city until the reception starts at 6:30 pm. We've provided some ideas in the "things to do" page for spots to check out before the reception. Just a reminder that we'll be serving hors d'oeuvres & drinks once you arrive to Artifact Events.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie and Zola.com, however, your presence is a gift enough for our big day!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to feel your best as we ring in the New Year with you, so tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Most importantly, don't forget your dancing shoes!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #NeilDownForHeidi so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
