Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

No later than May 1 please, or sooner. May 1, is the date our caterer recommended, in order to prepare ahead. The formal wedding invitation will include the RSVP date. Please mail your response back with the rsvp card and envelope.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, with Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, and have chosen a few items from this site, Zola. Our items are still being downloaded. Registry items can be found under the registry tab from the home page at the top. We linked our registries to this site to be conveniently located to one place. Or, if you don’t sign into this site each time, for Bed Bath and beyond, there is the in store purchase option or google Bed Bath and Beyond.com, select registry at the top, select find a registry, and type in Heidi Odom and Michael McKee. For Amazon, you can copy and use this link in your browser. https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share heidiandmike *Group gifting is an option on the Amazon website. It is not available on the Bed Bath and Beyond site. In order to group gift for Bed Bath and Beyond, you would have to go in the store together or combine a payment however you choose to do so. Also our favorites can be noticed on the actual Amazon and Bed Bath and Beyond site only. Thank you! ❤️

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please, arrive at least 30 minutes early (1:00) to be seated. The ceremony begins promptly at 1:30 and guests will not be permitted to enter late in order to prevent ceremony interruptions. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Please do not wear jeans.

Can I bring a date?

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, please refer to your invitation. We also ask that children are monitored, and stay by their parents sides, at all times, both indoors and outdoors, in order to ensure their safety etc...

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend The MCM Elegante Hotel in Beaumont and Book Nook Inn Bed & Breakfast, in Lumberton. Please refer to the travel section for more details.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know in advance if you have one and we will mention that to the caterer.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, after you enter the road to the venue, you will see the designated parking area on the left. Please park inside that area only. Please do not block the entry way of the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels or to the ceremony, reception, etc...?

Answer

No, however, we recommend Uber and Lyft. Please refer to the travel section for more details.

Will there be police officers at the reception?

Answer

Yes. The law requires 2 officers to be present due to liquor being served and the venue requires 2 officers due to the amount of people that will be present. *Please drink responsibly, please plan to have a designated driver if you will be drinking. Or please call an Uber or Lyft if needed. We want everyone to be safe.

Is the wedding ceremony indoors?

Answer

Yes, it is inside St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church.

Is the wedding reception indoors?

Answer

Yes, it is inside Broussard Farm and Sevenne Hall. However, there is an outdoor patio for your enjoyment as well.

Should I leave early?

Answer

We hope you stay. We are so happy to share our special day with you and are excited to see you. Please stay for our full ceremony and reception, and please see us out at our exit. We love you and would appreciate it very much.

Should I use my cell phone at the reception to take pictures, talk on, text etc...?

Answer

Please do not. We ask that everyone put their cell phone on silent during the wedding ceremony, and fully refrain from the use of them during the ceremony and reception to be fully present and enjoy all festivities. Please allow the wedding photographer to do all the picture taking. We would like to be the first ones to share any pictures of our wedding. If you feel you may have an emergency, please put the phone on vibrate only.

Where can I smoke?

Answer

Please smoke cigarettes/ e-cigarettes, cigars, etc...outside, away from all doors, the building, and other guests. Please put out all cigarettes completely, in the cigarette pot. Thank you.

Where should I sit at the ceremony?

Answer

Reserved seating will be reserved for immediate family in the front left and right pews. Ushers and groomsmen will escort all guests to seating on both the left and right side. There will not be a bride and groom side for guests except for immediate family.

What are the wedding party colors, so that I don’t wear the same colors?

Answer

The wedding colors are peach and navy. I’ve always asked this question so I wanted to let the ladies know if they thought of this as well.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes.

Is the wedding ceremony and venue at the same place?

Answer

No, the ceremony is at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church. The venue, is 20 minutes away at Broussards Farm and Sevenne Hall.

What if I find a gift on your registry, that I would like to purchase in a less expensive place?

Answer

That would be fantastic! Please let us know so we can remove it from the registry for other guests to choose from the remaining options.

Will there be a seating chart at the reception?

Answer

Yes, please look for your table. All tables will have a number on them.
