Driving to Halifax
If planning to drive to our wedding from the United States, there are a couple options: Driving through Atlantic Canada - two border crossing options: Calais-St. Stephen or Houlton-Woodstock (For reference it is ~10 hr drive from Boston to Halifax through the Calais-St. Stephen crossing) Drive & take Ferry - The Cat is a high-speed car ferry that travels (3.5 hrs) between Bar Harbor, ME and Yarmouth, NS. ~3 hr drive between Yarmouth Ferry Terminal and Downtown Halifax. Ferry departs Yarmouth at 9:30 am and Bar Harbor at 3 pm EST. (Fares: $90 one way for passenger; $156 for vehicle)
