Is there a registry?

Answer

Your presence is enough of a present to us! However if you would like to give us a small wedding gift, a contribution to our house fund would be greatly appreciated. A card box will be at our reception.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the celebration as the capacity is limited. Please reach out if you have questions!

Is there parking for the welcome party?

Answer

The Decks does not have parking, but is within walking distance from the recommended hotels. There is either street parking or parking garage options in the vicinity of The Decks.

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

The Cable Wharf wedding venue does not have parking. The venue is in walking distance from the recommended hotels. If you require parking for the wedding, there is either street parking or the Queen's Marque parking garage.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code for the Welcome Party. The Wedding is semi-formal attire (dresses, suits, dress pants, etc). For shoes: wear what is comfortable, there will be lots of dancing! The events will be both indoors/outdoors. Weather in Halifax in early June is mild (12-25°C/55-75°F) so please dress accordingly depending on the weather.
