Our ceremony will be held at New Life Assembly of God in Sparta, Wisconsin. Our Reception has been moved to the American Legion in Sparta, Wisconsin
The ceremony starts at 4 PM, followed by the reception at 5 PM. But we kindly ask all guests to arrive no later than 3:45 PM to allow time for seating before the ceremony begins.
Yes, children are welcome at both the ceremony and the reception!
We’ve secured a block of rooms at the Country Inn & Suites in Sparta, Wisconsin. Rooms are available at the discounted rate of $100 per night for stays between March 6–10. Be sure to book before February 20th to secure this rate.
Since the Country Inn & Suites (our hotel block) is across the street from the venue, transportation will not be provided. However, if any elderly guests staying at the hotel need assistance, we can arrange a ride for them.
March in Wisconsin is likely to be cold with potential snow on the ground. Please bring warm clothing, including a winter coat gloves and boots if needed the hotel also has an indoor pool so don’t forget your swimsuit if you’d like to enjoy that during your stay.
The closest airport is La Crosse Regional Airport (LSE), but flights can be more expensive. Many of us use Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), which is about a 2.5-hour drive from Sparta. You’ll need to rent a car or take a shuttle to reach the venue.
