Our story began in January of 2024, where Mac and Heidi were both invited to a connect night for college and careers ministries, a young adult group for New Life Assembly of God. Held by Isaac McPherson who will be officiating the service. Through CCM, we began to get to know each other. We loved playing board games after the service. We would find any excuse to be on the same team so we could sit next to each other. Overtime the two of us started to grow closer, 5 to 6 hour phone calls were a regular thing. It was over these conversations that the beauty of life’s true blessings and the unique gifts that God has given us as men and women became clear. As more time passed it started to become more clear that neither of us wanted to live a life apart from each other. Head over heels in love, Mac decided to propose to Heidi October 15th, 2024. We have been learning and growing ever since and cannot wait to finally call each other, Husband and Wife.
