Note: Sacred Heart and NC Museum of Natural Sciences are 0.3 mi./6-minute walk from each other. Street parking and lots listed below *should* be free on weekends (be sure to check signs). -Street parking: there is a lot of street parking available in downtown Raleigh. -Green Square Parking Deck (120 W Edenton St.) -Museum Lot (100 E. Jones St.)

If I'm planning to Uber/Lyft, where should I get dropped off at the reception?

Drop-off Zone for buses, cars, or taxis is located at 11 West Jones Street opposite the North Carolina State Legislative Building.

How do I get to the reception?

Answer

Please be aware the NC Museum of Natural Sciences has two buildings. The reception is in the Nature Research Center (not Nature Exploration Center). To get to the Nature Research Center (NRC), use its main entrance at 121 W. Jones St. ((Note: ride-share drop off is at 11 W. Jones St, so you will need to walk to the front entrance at 121 W. Jones St.)).
