When Laura and I hang out, it usually involves singing/dancing to musicals (Mamma Mia is a fav) or going to the movies and having to act like normal people in public (until COVID the theater down). Laura loves animals, and is much better with kids than I will ever be (like hopefully when I have kids I can dump them at Laura's for breaks).

Met in college at Ohio U and immediately clicked over our love of rap and sports. Sam is just a great dude that's infectiously positive. He lives in Denver but we make sure to catch up a few times a year in person. Everyone loves being around Sam.

Matt and I share a love of basketball, Star Wars (and other nerdy movies), and music. I'm really proud to see him find his passion in the Media space at Ohio U. I admire his dedication towards goals that he sets. He just ran a marathon earlier this year! Matt got all the athletic genes in the family, and while I used to beat up on him when we played basketball, he runs circles around me now. Really excited to have my brother as my co-best man.

Krainess is a great friend. We say we have the "same brain" because we are just on the same page with jokes and just about everything else. We don't go too long without grabbing a drink or taking a weekend trip together. One of my best friends and it's pretty incredible to have him and a couple other guys here in Cincinnati with me.

Heidi - Derek loves Lexi (his puppy), the outdoors (camping/hiking), rum & coke, good food, and Nolan Martz. He is the mother chicken at Foster's Meadow - and is normally covered in hair - but due to his current position in the army will likely show up to the wedding unrecognizable (shaved). Brad - It's been awesome to see our friendship grow over the years that Heidi and I have been dating. When COVID was going on and we were up in Cleveland, we really got to know each other and I found out how simular we actually were! Between him and Robbie, I really couldn't ask for better brother-in-laws. Miss you man! Proud of you for what you're doing in the Army.

Heidi - Robbie likes fish, fishing, cooking fish, his childhood favorite stuffed animal - was a stuffed fish, I think his favorite food is fish and chips.....his college major - has to do with fish. I feel like this picture should be of a fish. Brad - Love Robbie and so happy to have him as a brother in law! He's living with my brother at OU this year so that'll be a great excuse to go back for a visit. Whenever we're up visiting I know he's always up for some Catan...where he proceeds to kick my butt everytime!

Everyone that's friends with Eric would say that loyalty is his best trait. I couldn't agree more with that. Eric is a guy that's got your back at all times. He's a glue guy. For sure one of my best friends and hopefully I'll say that for a long time.

I've known Leo since the 5th grade in Solon. Our core group of friends always say "everyone loves Leo". He's the level headed smart guy of our friend group, but definitely knows how to have a good time too. He's crushing it as a lawyer in NYC now, which is no surprise to any of our hometown friends.

T-moss is the wildcard of my friend group. I always picture this guy with a smile on his face making us all laugh. Very pumped he's made his way down to Cincinnati for his new job. Another guy that I've known for 10+ years since grade school. Can't wait for all the fun times ahead.

T-hanny (aka Tommy Telsa) is another great friend that I've known for forever from Solon. He lives in Newport Beach now so us Ohio people look for any excuse possible to get out for a visit. I have so much fun with this dude whenever I see him and I'm really glad to have him in the wedding. A really nice wedding present from him would be if he could stop dominating our home fantasy football league for just one year and give everyone else a shot. Thanks in advance!
