it's happening!

Enjoying the ultimate girls night, celebrating MOH Kiley's birthday, Jen was ending her night at go-to piano bar, The Zebra Lounge. Being the two tallest people in a teeny tiny bar, Mike & Jen locked eyes from across the room to the sounds of Billy Joel being sung by several tone-deaf locals. Jen got Mike "Zebra's" number and Kiley gave him a tipsy stamp of approval. We went on our first official date later that week and were hooked!

In Vail, CO on vacation with Mike's family, Mike was thinking about all of the boxes he was checking off: anniversary to celebrate, beautiful scenery, family to celebrate with - everything was perfect. At an intimate dinner just the two of us, we ended our dinner by the fireplace (how romantic!) where Mike asked the question and Jen said YES!, giving us a wonderful reason to pop champagne. We spent the rest of the night dancing and celebrating with Mike's siblings, both of us taking notes from Henry on the dance floor - maybe you'll see some of those moves at the reception...
