Maid of Honor
As Lisa's twin, she's been through it all; the good, the bad and the ugly. She serves as Lisa's personal stylist so likely any outfit you see her wear was approved by Ally. This wedding would not be getting planned if it were not for her, she's an expert in what makes a good party. If anyone knows me (Lisa) better than Chris it's Ally. It's the twin telepathy.
Riley Stewart
Best Man
Riley and Chris have been best friends since middle school and he’s been there through thick and thin. Their friendship originally developed while playing baseball together, and has continued through adulthood. Riley and Chris both hired with their respective full time fire departments in 2020. Chris is honored to have him by his side as his best man on his wedding day.
Katie Bertram
Bridesmaid
Chris' sister, and Lisa's future sister-in-law. She scoped out the perfect proposal spot and was hidden in the bushes to capture the most amazing pictures of the moment. Her dedication to remaining incognito went as far as driving a different car so Lisa wouldn't suspect a thing. I (Lisa) can't wait to share a last name with Katie even if just for a short time.
Will Heider
Groomsman
Will is Lisa’s brother and although they have only had a few occasions to meet, it is clear to Chris how much he cares about Lisa as well as the rest of his family. He’s always been supportive and welcoming toward me (Chris) and I look forward to building a closer relationship with him as we continue to grow as a family.
Liza Brooks
Bridesmaid
A soon-to-be Heider (Will's future wife) and sister-in-law Liza was thrown into the chaos of the Heider family and never left. She bravely met everyone during Ally and Lisa's marathon graduation weekend in 2022 and has since endured many road trips and events.
Bridger Bentzinger
Groomsman
Bridger and Chris met in 2019 as seasonal wildland firefighters. Originally he was Chris’ boss (and Chris will never let him forget that), and was the one who convinced Chris to pursue full time status as a firefighter. Currently, they are partners at their fire station in Midvale and I (Chris) am excited to be able to include him in my wedding party.
Jaelin Richardson
Bridesmaid
Jaelin and Lisa attended many Boilermaker football and basketball games together. They sat through various lectures starting with General Chemistry and went their separate ways for Grad School but always stayed in touch. Coincidently they took (and passed) their RD exams within 24 hours of each other.
Micah Stratton
Groomsman
Micah and Chris met in 2020. Micah was one of the instructors during Chris’ fire academy. After training, they became partners at the fire station in Millcreek. They quickly became really close friends and will never forget the countless nights they stayed up just talking about life. He’s the reason Chris got into mountain biking, which is now one of his favorite hobbies. It's a privilege to have Micah as a part of the wedding.
Kona Bertram
Dog of Honor
Wouldn't be Lisa and Chris' wedding without some mention of Kona. Although she can't be there in person she will surely be there in spirit. She was a surprise gift on Valentine's Day in 2024 and continues to provide joy, happiness, and a little chaos every day.
