What will your last name be?

Answer

Megan and Sean have decided that after getting married they will be changing their last name to Taliaferro. This is Sean's dad's family last name as well as the last name that Sean's daughter, Iris, has.

Where can I park for the Ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony is being held at McKennan Park where there is ample street parking as well as a small parking lot.

But what about parking at the Reception?

Answer

Parking for the reception is street parking, there is a small parking lot that will mostly be used for the catering and other vendors.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask you arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts so you can be seated.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

With walking around a park, please wear what shoes you will be most comfortable in. There are cement walkways but we wouldn't necessarily recommend stilettos.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP as soon as possible we would kindly request you do so prior to July 22nd as space is limited.

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes, food will be served at the reception.

But What kind of food will be served?

Answer

An Italian Buffet will be served with pasta, red meat sauce and white sauce, chicken, caesar salad, and garlic bread. We will also have various snacks and a cookie bar for dessert.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We are able to provide gluten free pasta (if you need it please let Sean or Megan know so there is enough), and are hoping that with the variety of buffet food, everyone will be able to find something to eat. If you are concerned about finding food and think you may need to eat elsewhere, downtown Sioux Falls has many great options.

Can I take pictures?

We ask that you do not take photos during the Ceremony. However if you would like to capture some photos of yourselves and guests at the reception please do so and send them to Megan and Sean here: 605-610-9076

Can I bring a date?

In the interest of numbers for our reception venue, not everyone was provided a +1. If you are unsure if you have one, please contact Megan or Sean.

What time will the reception end?

11:30pm. We must be out of the venue by midnight, but if you'd like to assist with clean up 11:30-midnight, that would be appreciated!

What should I wear?

Answer

Megan and Sean request that you wear your Hogwarts House robes. However if you do not have a set you are more then welcome to come in Cocktail Attire.

What is Cocktail Attire though?

Answer

Men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Yes, the theme is "celestial magic" -- which is basically the nicest way Megan could think of saying "Harry Potter wedding but mix in all the other fantasy books that she and Sean love."
