We recommend you book your flight directly to Dublin, Ireland. These have consistently been the least expensive flights we've encountered. (We have booked our flights and plan to arrive on September 11, 2025.) If you are looking to land closer to Bushmills, UK in Northern Ireland, there are several flights with layovers that land in Belfast which is a little over an hour drive to Bushmills from there.
The most efficient option would be to rent a car especially if you plan to explore on your own or have a strict timeline. It is a 3 hour drive up north from Dublin, but traveling by train or bus is equally effective! If you are unsure or want any help, just let us know!
We recommend looking into AirBNB or VRBO lodging options in the area near the wedding site. Bushmills, Portrush, and Ballycastle have lovely hotels in addition to AirBNB/VRBO accommodations. Check out this website for ideas! https://discovernorthernireland.com/accommodation?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIu_zM2JzLhAMVEpRQBh0pywXTEAAYASABEgIoP_D_BwE
We recommend booking flights as soon as you are able. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place on September 15th, you may want to book flights so you arrive at least a couple days in advance to allow for travel up north and to adjust to the time change.
