Shantel and I have been best friends for over 16 years! We met at NDI (dance classes) and became fast friends. We bonded over a love of reading, would frequently exchange books, and often asked our parents to drive us to book stores and leave us there for hours on end. While we never went to the same school, or even lived in the same city, we have maintained our special friendship. I am thrilled that Shantel will stand by my side as I enter this new season of life.

I chose Guillermo to be my best man not only because he is my big brother, but because he is truly my best friend. I've looked up to him since we were kids and still do to this day. Guillermo has excelled at being an athlete, scholar, gamer, occasional philosopher and most of all, a big brother. Having my brother as a role model has led me to become the man I am today. I am honored to call him my best man on the most important day of my life.

Having Leticia as my baby sister meant that we shared everything from a playroom to to our love of all animals. As we have grown into adults she has taught me so much about life. She is an inspiration in her relentless pursuit of her dreams and success, and always a model of strength. While we don't always agree, and she never holds back giving me her honest opinion, I know that she is always there to support me and cheer me on. I am so happy that she will also share in this special day.

Geordie and I have been friends for 4 years and we've been roommates for 2 years. We've had many adventures like the trips to Playa del Carmen, Vegas, Puerto Penasco, ice fishing, camping, and slip 'n' flip. Geordie has also been there for my best adventure yet, dating Christine. I remember asking Geordie "is it ok if Christine moved in?" and his response was "Dude, she's lived here for weeks". Geordie's been there for me, Christine and the puppies from the beginning. I'm glad to have him stand next to me when Christine and I make our next step in our happily ever after adventure.

I have known Natalia for nearly 13 years (way longer than Hector!) since she started dating my cousin, AJ, in college. Even since I was a teenager, I remember looking up to her as a role model in the way she carried herself with dignity and confidence. Through the years we have had many long life talks and I have admired the loving way she built and cares for her family. I am so grateful that she introduced Hector and I, and I am excited promote her from cousin to sister-in-law, and join the Perez family!

When my sister Natalia first introduced me to AJ, we instantly bonded at a beer pong level. Soon after we became friends, AJ asked for my blessing to marry my sister, and we became family. AJ got me hooked to LOTRO and somehow I even convinced him to play semi-pro football with me. I am blessed to have AJ at my side when I embark on this journey with Christine.
