Maid of Honor
As one of the only people on this planet I can rely on to be the most compassionate, supportive and generous, Maya has been an essential part of my life since we were in seventh grade. We spent our high school career inseparable. Our relationship has maintained a steady constant through all these years. We can reach for a hand to hold or a boost to lift us higher. The reciprocated care and support has never faltered, and I know we are an anchor for each other no matter the distance between us!
Best Man
How often can you say you've known a friend your entire life and actually mean it? Well, I can with 100% certainty. Chris was in his mother's arms at the hospital the day that I was born. Since that day, he has been my "brother from another mother." We have fought endlessly, argued pointlessly, talked each other through some tough times (HS girls, amirite?!) and shared many laughs. Most importantly, like is the case with all brothers, I admire him, I respect him and I am grateful for him. It is an absolute honor to call him my Best Man.
Bridesmaid
My darling, best friend since Pre-K! I am so thankful for the lifetime of sleepovers, snow days and endless hours on Photo Booth entirely too late into the night. The truest friend that listens without judgment!
Groomsman
Charles rounds off a trio of childhood friends that was inseparable. Chris was always the athletic one, I was the chubby, goofy one and Charles was the quiet, dependable friend. I can think back to days where Charles and I would walk to school together. I would round the corner where our streets met and, without fail, he would be there waiting. Even today, when Chris and I are too lazy to drive up to Montrose, Charles has no problem driving the 40 mins to get to us.
Bridesmaid
In the summer of 2011, Karla went from being Juan's sister to being a dear friend. Our friendship is defined by it's honesty, sincerity and a dab of sarcasm. From comedy shows to Hamilton to trivia nights at the Bridgeview Tavern, I can always rely on her being a companion for a night out on the town.
Groomsman
Let the record show that Ned is actually the first Heckman that I met. This is an accolade we do not let Sarah forget :) It was in these early interactions at Oasis Summer Day Camp that I found he and I share a similar "joie de vivre". Ned is never one to say no to taking up new activities and exploring new places. His love of life is only rivaled by his love for his sister. You could say that without Ned's approval, this relationship would not have even started.
Bridesmaid
I'm so thankful for the education program at HWS that brought us together. Since 2012, we have been supporting each other in and outside of the classroom. She pushes me to be a better teacher and better human every single day. This ray of sunshine brightens the room with her smile alone.

By some stroke of luck, Alan and I were neighbors our freshman year at Boston College. I quickly came to find that I could rely on Alan to make the most of mundane moments. Somewhere in the sands of the time there is a video of Alan and I dancing around to "Golden Cage - Fred Falke Remix". The dance move? Shaking our hands like they were on fire for 5 minutes straight. I cannot wait until my pal Al dances his ways into your hearts!

Somehow it’s only been 11 years since meeting Anna but it feels like we’ve known each other forever. There are few words to describe a friendship based in love, laughter and honesty. It’s a friendship that’s spanned oceans and will continue to be a constant no matter what life brings our way.
Groomsman
The man who began as a legend at "Guitar Hero" our freshman year at Boston College is now a fiercely loyal and caring friend. In Michael, you will find someone that is not only ready to provide a helping hand (whether carrying a keg to the basement or moving furniture into a new office) but also quick to make you laugh under any circumstances. His overwhelming positivity is infectious so when you meet him, be prepared! P.S. if you need a solid back crack, he is your man.

A friend for over a decade, Lydia has been a go-to. An honest, thoughtful human being full of love and joy, Lydia is an extremely supportive friend. Between the trips to Florida for a cocktail on the beach, upstate New York for a quick ski outing and Shelter Island for a dip in the ocean, Lydia has always been an upbeat and full-spirited kind of friend that anyone would be grateful to have.

Stoic. Brooding. Philosophical. While these three words have often been used to describe John since our Boston College days (especially during a game of NHL 4s), I know a man that is kind, thoughtful and giving. Even though I spend most of my time trying to make him let loose a brief, yet hearty chuckle, John has always been someone I can call at any time and rely on to be a voice of reason, a constant source of support and, most invaluable of all, honest.
