Matron of Honor
Sister of the bride, best friend, and partner in crime. Becca has truly been the best sister a gal could ask for. She's been the late night convo, grabbing coffee and coloring in coloring books in the back corner of the restaurant while we chat about all of life's moments kind of woman. All the tears, laughs, growth, and everything in between has been amazing. Definitely a bestie for life!!! <3
Best Man
Isaac and Josh met at RGES (Rio Grande Enrichment Studies) when they were both in high school, and got very close after finding they had many shared interests. They have remained close over the years, and even worked together at Dion's for almost two years. Isaac is one of Josh's closest friends, encouraging him in his spiritual growth, ragging on him in ways only close friends do, and always being down for a good sparring match.
Bridesmaid
We met through mutual friends and have gotten to know each other better and better over the years. The frequent trips to visit each other for long weekends (or more when we can!) that always involve late night talks, allllll the prayer and theological discussions, wine and charcuterie boards, oh and coffee are truly what bonded us closer together. Like another sister in so many ways and one of Sarah's dearest people in her life.
Best Woman
Sister of the groom and 'best buddy' for years, Josh and Lydia have been super close since they decided that arguing with each other was stupid, and it would be far more beneficial and awesome to get along. Whenever they have needed each other, they've always been there. It helps when your best buddy lives right across the hall from you!
Bridesmaid
"Sister" and roommate of the bride, Ellysia has been friends with Sarah literally their entire lives. It started out as a friendship in the bean rows of her family's farm where we were often reprimanded for talking too much while working, to now being roomies and being able to talk as much as we want! Literally one of the sweetest gals a friend could ask for, loyal to a fault, and the best roomie evah.
Groomsman
Caleb and Josh met the same time Josh and Sarah did, and since then they've been good friends. Only really getting closer about four years ago, they have spent many a late night laughing, talking about shared interests, and diving into deeper topics of conversation. Caleb is very much one of Josh's closest friends, and in many ways, the brother he never had.
Bridesmaid
Long time pen pals who finally got to meet in person and became the best of friends. She may live in Illinois, but their friendship has spanned the distance (thank goodness for plane travel!). They often joke that it's really wonderful having someone who is on such a similar life path with shared experiences either together or separately. Samantha just also got married, so the similar journeys continue!
Groomsman
Noah and Josh met over Google+, and after chatting online for years, they finally met in person in 2020 as Noah came down from Colorado to surprise Josh for his birthday. Despite having a mostly online friendship, that hasn't stopped them from having many conversations about many things, both simple and deep, and becoming very close friends!
Bridesmaid
We became friends through her cousins, but truly bonded over our mutual jobs as nannies and when we realized we had too much in common not to! Not to mention our shared love for coffee, beaches and random trips to do fun things. Truly a friend to be counted on for any situation, Lara is one heck of a friend and 'salt queen' in Sarah's life!
Groomsman
Jordan and Josh met through Caleb, and as the three of them hung out more and more, Josh and Jordan also got closer. Only being friends for about 3 years, Jordan and Josh have gotten very close, growing in their friendship rather quickly. Jordan always brings the laughs to any group he's with, and Josh is very glad to have him as a friend.
Bridesmaid
Sister to the groom and long time friend of the bride, having met each other the same time Josh did! There's been several boba tea dates, lunch grabs, and late night text conversations sprinkled throughout their years of friendship, ebbing with life as it flows. Now we get to be sisters-in-law for life!
Groomsman
Joshua and Joshua met at the homeschool convention, and since then they got closer. Many deep conversations and laughs over the years, and they get along so well and act so similarly, that they often call themselves "each others last brain cell". They both have been there for the other, sharing what life has taught them, and trying to find the rest of their brain cells.
Jr. Bridesmaid
One of my "girlies"! The unique bond of getting to be an older friend to a young woman and watching her grow up is an amazing blessing. I've known Jessa since she was little and mostly enjoyed getting to chat with her at church on Sundays. Her fantastic sass and sweetness is one of my favorite things about her. She's always ready to offer help or to just engage in fun, witty conversation! She's one of the first to hear that I had a guy in my life and cared a lot about whether this guy was a good fit or not. Getting to have Jessa up with me on this special day means a lot!
Jr. Bridesmaid
One of my nanny kiddos to start and now a sweet young woman in my life!! I've gotten to watch Evie grow into the graceful young lady she's becoming and I couldn't picture my day without her. From attending ballet performances to our yearly girls sleepovers, Evie has continued to be a bright spot in my life even after the nanny days were over! Getting to have her stand with me means the world.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Riah is another one of my sweet girlies. We got closer after we started doing our girls thing every year. She is one of the sweetest people on the planet and is a joy to be around. I am so excited to have her up there with me on the big day to celebrate with us! She was almost one of the most curious when it came to questions about this man in my life and ran many questions in the big 'interrogation' the girls put me through when they found out about Josh. I appreciated the love and support! =D Having Riah up with me on the big day is definitely going to be a highlight.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Perhaps the sassiest young lady I've ever known! Have quite literally watched Lydia grow up from a young baby when I was first nannying her and her siblings to the sweet girl she is today! (sweet with a lot of spice!). Always ready with a hug and sassy remark whenever I see her, she is certainly counted along with my girlies!!! Always will be. <3 I am so so excited to have her up with me on our big day!!
