Please arrive anywhere between 3:15-3:45 PM. The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:00 PM. Traffic along the lake can get busy, so allot for ample travel time to the venue if traveling from uptown Charlotte.
Yes the dress code is black tie optional. Ladies are encouraged to wear floor length dresses. Gentleman are encouraged to wear suits and/or tux. The bridal party will be wearing a raspberry-pink color for those looking to avoid matching the wedding party. Fun colors, patterns, prints, and florals are encouraged!
We politely ask that you refer to your wedding invitation and RSVP information. We are only accounting for ceremony and table seats for guests included on the invitation.
Yes, please let us know if you have any food allergies or restrictions! There is room to answer this question when filling out your RSVP. If you missed it, please send us a text message and we'd be happy to accommodate.
Yes, there is ample parking on the property. There will be staff running golf carts from the parking lots to the ceremony space for those in heels or in need of assistance. If you have mobility restrictions, we encourage you to pull up directly to the ceremony space for easiest access. The handicap drop off is located directly to the left of the mansion when viewing from the street.
We encourage guests to utilize Uber or Lyft during their stay if planning to consume any alcohol. It may be best to schedule a ride in advance due to the rural location of the venue.
The parking lot is gravel, but there will be golf cart transportation from the parking lot to the ceremony space if needed. The ceremony will be on brick covered patio. Cocktail hour is on a sealed concrete patio surface. The reception will be inside on covered floors. No grass or hills to worry about!
