We met on Bumble in September 2021 while pursuing our master's degrees at East Carolina University. We spent the early months of our relationship trying to focus on school and seeing each other on the occasional weekend for a drink out on the town. Cam became a trusty companion with Will and his guy friends on the weekends. In January 2022, both Cam and Will approached a mutual friend with the same question "Do you think he/she actually likes me?". Our relationship deepened over time as we finally admitted our mutual crush. We officially started dating on February 12th, 2022 and have fallen into side step with each other ever since. From late nights at the library, to gym sessions, and eventually navigating 6 months of long distance, we have grown a tremendous amount over the past 4 years. After graduate school, we both accepted jobs in Charlotte, NC. Navigating our first jobs in the corporate and healthcare worlds together has been nothing short of fun, crazy, and sometimes challenging. Getting to experience this together, and now with our pup Mikey, has been incredible. Will proposed to Cam on the beach in Ocean Isle while spending time with their families. It was the sweetest weekend celebrating with our families and beginning this year of wedding planning together. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude to our families and friends who have helped us plan and prepare for the wedding weekend. We are so excited to see you all and welcome you to the greater Charlotte area! We can't wait to see you & kick off the weekend on May 8th.
