Maid of Honor
Friend of the bride. (AKA Mel, Melly) The definition of a best friend. We both went to Franklin Pierce University however she was a year ahead of me and thought I was a nerd so we weren't friends at that time. It wasn't until we both were in the same year at Sacred Heart University for PT school that we became best friends. Ask her about... anything really! but you'll really want to know what it's like to live on an island!
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. (AKA Nicola, Fancy Bitch Nicola) Met at Sacred Heart University in PT school, knew we would be best friends after a wild trip to Las Vegas for a PT conference. Ask her about her black lab, Luna, or the Patriots!
Bridesmaid
Cousin of the bride. (AKA cuzzy wuzzy, stupid squirrel) More of a sister to me, we grew up on the same street and learned many life lessons together the hard way, ask her about the scup face and what it's like to be a vegan and new mom!
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. (AKA Laurrrrr) Met on a pre-orientation kayaking wilderness adventure just a few weeks before our first year of college at Franklin Pierce University, roommates junior and senior year, ask her about corn and adventures in VT (including a homemade chili tasting)!
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. (AKA Emmie) Friends since middle school, we grew up running around Lunenburg together (not causing too much trouble), ask her the correct way to pronounce "sauna" or what it's like to work at Disney!
Bridesmaid
Friend of the bride. (AKA Livvie) Friends since elementary/middle school in Lunenburg, we also learned life lessons together the hard way but were always able to laugh about it later on, ask her about rope swings (...maybe not) and what she loves most about living in Boston!
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom. (AKA Meg) Sean's sister and soon to be my sister-in-law, ask her about what her tattoos mean and all her nicknames for our dog, Naliah!
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom. (AKA "the other one", the baby) Sean's youngest sister and my soon to be sister-in-law, ask her about hiking the Grand Canyon and her experience of teaching English in Spain!
Best Man
Sean met Phil back Freshman year at Fairfield Prep when Sean ended up at the Lastner’s house as part of a group project. The catch: Sean was not part of the group. After Sean past the time making a video featuring Dodger, the Lastner’s beagle, they became fast friends. Both rowed on the crew team at Prep and spent time traveling to regattas and more importantly Ocean City, MD. Throughout their friendship they been on countless adventures around the globe with more on the way.
Groomsman
It all started in Biology Lab the Fall Semester of 2009 at Franklin Pierce. After that fateful meeting, the two were nearly inseparable for 3 years, and even more-so once they became roommates. Through the ups and downs and rigors of college including broken bones, cramming sessions in the library, and night skiing/snowboarding at Wachusett, they have been through it all.
Groomsman
Lucas and Sean met in the 3rd Grade, both walking home from Mill Hill Elementary. Growing up together through middle school they regularly rode bikes into town, hit up Mike’s Pizza, and snuck into movies. Many summer days were spent throwing the [Frisbee] disc around in 90+ degree weather and jumping into the freezing cold water in the cascades behind Mohegan Lake.
Groomsman
Perhaps Sean’s oldest friend, meeting in the 1st grade on the same little league baseball team as well as the same soccer team. Their friendship continued by bonding over movies, video games, and both by listening to and playing music. To this day they spend their time doing many of the same activities that kept them friends over the years.
Groomsman
As cousins, they have known each other practically since birth and spent dozens of holidays and family parties together. The pair has ventured up north to Eastman Lake in New Hampshire, all the way out west to San Francisco where they spent a week with U. G. (Uncle Glenn), and experienced both the highs and lows of Brooklyn, NY. No matter the journey, both have always had the other’s back and continue to until this day.
Groomsman
After occasionally bumping into each other in the same friend circles, Joe and Sean’s friendship appropriately started with cars. Beginning by attending the same driver’s ed class, car culture only brought them closer together as they both worked as valets and even started recording a car chat show. Recently, they both attended the IMSA Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park which is sure to be a tradition going forward. To best summarize: Joe stays crunchy, even in milk.
