The Wedding Website of Heather Munro and Rade Milijasevic
Located just five minutes west of Boulder in the gorgeous Boulder Canyon, Wedgewood Weddings Boulder Creek is the perfect fit for the rustic couple. This location boasts a stunning natural setting in thickly forested mountains, with acres of lush grounds, and the babbling Boulder Creek flowing through the property.
Question

How do we get to Wedgewood in Boulder Canyon?

Answer

1. From US-36/28th Street in Boulder, head west onto Canyon Blvd/CO-119. (Toward the mountains.) 2. Follow Canyon Blvd for 4 miles, turn left onto Chapman Drive. 3. Wedgewood on Boulder Creek is on the left. GPS/Wifi may go out in the canyon, so be sure to watch your odometer so you don’t miss the turn into Wedgewood. If you’ve gone more than four miles, turn back!

Question

Do we have to drive to somewhere else after the ceremony?

Answer

Nope. Both the ceremony and reception are at Wedgewood on Boulder Creek.

Question

Do I need to select my lunch entree?

Answer

No you do not. In addition to plenty of appetizers, we've decided to have a buffet with Salmon, Chicken, 8 assorted salads and some sort of roast. So there's no need to select an entree option when you RSVP. Your meal will also include a champagne or sparkling cider toast, a choice of red or white wine, and one hour of a hosted bar featuring liquor, wine, or beer. Soda, lemonade, hot coffee, and tea will also available.

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

Well, it's Colorado in July. The average temperature in Boulder this time of year is 88 F / 31 C. The wedding and reception is outdoors alongside Boulder Creek with plenty of shade, but we want you to be comfortable in the heat. In general, people don't dress up too much in Colorado, but we're asking guests to aim for Dressy Casual. So a nice summer dress for the ladies and a shirt and tie for the men.

Question

I hear the altitude is hard for out-of-towners. How should we prepare?

Answer

Boulder is at 5, 420 feet, so a wee bit higher than Denver, the mile high city. It's also in the high dessert, so it's dry. It's recommended that you drink plenty of water and don't overdo the alcohol on your first day in town. If you begin to feel light-headed or have a headache, it could be altitude sickness. Drink lots of water and take it easy to avoid having to miss the festivities. Feel free to make the following joke: Man, the altitude is high today, isn't it?

Question

How do you pronounce Milijasevic?

Answer

Milly-ah-sa-vitch. (Rade was impressed with how quickly Heather was able to say his last name.)

Question

How do we reach Rade or Heather if we have other questions?

Answer

Email is probably best. Rade's address is: rade95@gmail.com. Heather's address is: heatherinitheyogini@gmail.com. (That's Heatherini the Yogini.)

Question

Do you have a block of hotel rooms reserved for guests?

Answer

No we didn't reserve a block of rooms at one hotel. Instead, we listed some of our favorite spots closest to the reception to give guests a choice of where to stay.
