The best airport to fly into is Dublin. There are other airports, like Shannon, but Dublin is the closest to the venue. We highly recommend arriving on Tuesday to give yourself time to adjust and recuperate from the journey. Travel experts suggest (and we've found from our experience) that it is cheapest to book 4-6 months out.

Irish Rail - Galway Service [Dublin Heuston station to Tullamore station]
The Irish Rail connects most major cities in the country. If you travel to the venue via Irish Rail, your starting station is "Dublin Heuston" and the station you'll get off at is "Tullamore." The journey ranges from 50 minutes to an hour. Prices are about 10 euros per ticket and are available online. The name of this route is the Galway service and it runs every day, many times a day. Once you reach Tullamore the venue can be reached by taxi / uber / lyft. Additionally, the Irish Rail does offer multi-day passes for you to travel on the trains for several days in a row using just one rail pass. Kinnitty Castle is where we'll be having all of the wedding festivities. The hotel has reserved a block of rooms for our guests should you wish to stay, when booking please let them know that you are with our group. They offer four types of rooms: Suites, State Rooms, Baronial Rooms, and Abbey Rooms. Each room includes bed and breakfast. The prices of the rooms are based on two adults occupying the room, please inquire about the cost of children and single occupancy. The suite and state rooms are 220 euro per night, the baronial rooms are 190, and abbey rooms are 160 per night. Should you wish to stay at the castle with us please know that the block of rooms for the wedding is held until 2 months before the wedding, so you must book at least 2 months in advance to be guaranteed a room at our group rate.
