Heather matched with Peter on Facebook Dating in early March of 2024 (right around Peter's birthday!). Their first date was at the Graffiti Bar in Philadelphia on March 15th, right before St. Paddy's Day. They talked the evening away until the bar shut down. Not wanting the date to end, Peter suggested ice cream. In 35 degree weather. To which, Heather, agreed wholeheartedly, despite the cold (because she really wanted to spend more time with Peter 😉). He offered her his Baltimore Ravens gloves, which she refused to wear as a die-hard Eagles fan. Go birds. They spent the rest of the evening, long into the early morning (1 am to be exact!) talking at Insomnia Cookies. Peter had ice cream, true to what Heather now knows, is the Kowalski family love of ice cream. Heather had cookies. Because she was cold. But still wanted dessert. Finally, it was time to go home. Peter so graciously offered to walk Heather to her car, which she accepted, not only because she liked Peter, but because it's Philly, and she could use a bodyguard on the walk to the garage. When they arrived to the garage, it was locked down. Peter refused to leave her until she either: A. Found a way to get back to her car Or B. Got her an Uber to go home and pick up her car the next day. After three grueling trips around the garage in freezing weather, they found their way into the garage, and into the warmth of the car. Heather offered Peter a ride to his car, to which he told her he had walked. So Heather drove him home. For his troubles. Since that unlucky first garage mishap, Heather and Peter have always found that even if they find themselves in some trouble, they always end up exactly where they need to be, some may call it luck- but that's just the magic of the two of them together. ❤️ ☘️
