We met on the shore of the Gallatin River, just outside of Bozeman, MT. Barbo was perched on the back of a raft, hootin', hollerin', and guiding a quality crew of thrill seekers down the class 3 & 4 rapids. Heather was roadside, speeding down the highway, pulling over to sprint, lunge, squat, and scramble across rocks and beaches working to catch up and photograph his commercial trip. We spent the first year as friends, talking on the phone and over WhatsApp as Heather took off to pander Prague and roam around Portland, Oregon. Reconnecting in the Spring of 2018, we have been hiking, taking mini-vacations, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, playing video games, and making turns down steep snowy hillsides ever since. Road tripping and fly fishing our way to Kalispell, MT, exploring the history of Pendelton, Oregon, in addition to wandering the waterways of the San Joaquin River in California with our respective families have been highlights and the most wonderful gifts we could have experienced until now. It is our greatest joy, our deepest gratitude, and from a place of excessive excitement that we invite you to celebrate the union of the Barbouletos & McKenney families with the friends of ours that have become more like family.
