Jessie, Heather's younger sister, is the crafty one of the Cooke clan. Boasting 7 plus sewing machines in her abode, Dane (her husband) and Jessie are the costume conquerors in and outside of their LARPing. They even dressed in disguise to witness and capture Mike's proposal to Heather. Dane and Jess got married at Woodlawn, Jubilee's "sister" venue. It was there, Heather caught Jessie's bouquet, while Mike celebrated the victory!
Stephen Laspina
Best Man
Steve and Mike have known each other and been friends since high school. They became friends rollerblading on the mean streets of Oakland, NJ, usually looking for trouble and finding it. Steve currently owns a business in NJ, is a badass husband and soon to be father of two gorgeous daughters (they take after their mother). Despite the distance, Steve and Mike still talk regularly and always have time to make plans they can never seem to keep.
Ryan Vetreno
Best Man
Ryan, Mike's older brother, is the doctor of the family. Ryan holds a PHD in neuroscience, putting his vast knowledge and experience to work in the department of alcohol studies at UNC, in NC. While Mike has volunteered many times to be a test subject to help further his brother's experiments, Ryan has yet to utilize Mike's selfless research on the subject. Ryan and Mike see each other as frequently as possible and always seem to have chores that require the others assistance.
JoAnna Heineck

JoAnna is Mike's twin sister! JoAnna is also the mommy of the beautiful flower girl Emma (and now almost 1 yr old Max). JoAnna is an electrical engineer down in Durham, North Carolina who enjoys being active with her family of four. When Heather and Mike visit, they always enjoy playing ALL of the games, especially Code Names!
Jason Cooke
Groomsman
Jason is Heather's older brother, and is currently an officer in the United States Air Force. Jason likes to spend his time going on adventures, trying new experiences, and traveling with his wife and 2 dogs. Jason was recently promoted to Major, and Mike had the honor of being the first enlisted Marine to formally salute him in uniform at his new rank!
Jeff Wilson
Groomsman
Jeff is Mike's oldest brother and is the family member that lives the furthest away. Despite the distance Jeff can always be counted on for a meaningful conversation, excellent advice or just a good laugh! When Jeff is not working as a supervisor for a major cable company, he is spending time with his cats, super cute dog and close friends.
Kelly Farrell

Kelly and Heather played soccer together at Loyola University Maryland. Hailing from Long Island, Kelly prides herself in finding the best slice of pie when she is not in New York. Heather and Kelly even got to enjoy pizza in Italy on their Spring Break of '09! Kelly is now a college coach in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mary Feng McCandless

Mary and Heather have known each other since high school. Last year, Heather got to be a part of her beautiful wedding. Mary helped Heather move across country, driving with her from Dallas to St. Mary's (stopping at Kelly's and Jamie's along the way). Mary is quite the traveler and is always chasing the next adventure! She is currently attending Parsons School of Design in NY.
Jamie Dalrymple

Jamie and Heather have known each other since they were 3 years old! From camping trips to high school dances to working together post college, these two have stood the test of time. Jamie's mom always keeps ice-cream sandwiches in her freezer for when Heather visits. Heather can always count on Jamie to laugh at her jokes and ridiculousness. Jamie has a spoiled dachshund named Bentley with his own IG @bentleyreese_doxie !

Katherine, who goes by Kate or Katie outside of work, met Heather playing soccer in the county. The next day they walked into the same building and turns out they were working for the same program! Kate is always up for anything and loves a nice glass of wine. She is also quite the baker and will be baking the cake for the wedding! Kate is an engineer for a military contractor.
Jennifer Pierce

Jennifer, also known as JPP, is also part of the local St Mary's County Crew (but she is originally from West Virginia). Heather met JPP at Crossfit Pax and when JPP shared her pull up bar with Heather, they became instant besties. When Heather and JPP get together, it is all laughs and LOUDness! She is always up for a trip and plans to go the Philippines with Heather in the future! JPP currently works on the local NAVY base as a business financial manager.
Nancy Gonzalez

Nance pants came to St. Mary's County by orders of the US Navy. She became friends with Heather after meeting her at CrossFit Pax. Nancy is always coming up with fun activities for the local St. Mary's County Crew whether it be coordinating a mud run or going to a country concert or just meeting up for some tacos. This year, Heather and JPP went to San Francisco and Oakland to see Nancy's hometown!
Ryan Lill

Ryan has known Mike since middle school when he used to bully Mike in front of cute girls. Ryan and Mike became friends in high school and developed a tradition called Fight Friday where they would pretend to fight to draw a crowd and then walk away high-fiving. Unbeknownst to Ryan, Mike secretly became friends with him only to exact his revenge! Well one-day Mike knocked Ryan the F out like the little weakling he is and he cried like a baby and peed his pants in front of everyone. They have been the best of friends ever since.
Dan Boyung

Dan and Mike met in the world's finest fighting force, the United States Marine Corps. Dan and Mike served with each other for 5 years, going on multiple work-ups and deployments, all while partying all over the world. Dan likes to spend his time with his beautiful wife and super cool kids.
Matthew Haight

Matt and Mike met in middle school and their friendship has only grown since. Over the years Matt and Mike have shared a lot of experiences; sports, video games, Matt and Mike even went through USMC boot camp together. Matt is actually the reason Mike became a Marine. Thanks Matt!

Chris and Mike have known each other since middle school. Chris and Mike both have a passion for sports, fitness, nutrition and just being healthy. Chris currently work as a fitness manager at a gym and is a coach and mentor to a young men's lacrosse team. Chris likes to spend his free time with his wife and children and their dog.
Christy Campbell

Christy met Heather and Mike at the gym in SOMD and the three quickly became friends. Christy is a fellow fitness enthusiast and runs her own fitness/nutritional programming from her new home in WA. Christy was integral in Mike and Heather getting together. Mike and Christy would often train Heather in the morning at CF Pax and Christy several times gently encouraged Mike to ask out Heather even though Mike thought Heather was out of his league! Turns out Christy was right, thanks Christy!
Katie Nutter

Katie, AKA Hatey Katie, AKA Thug Nut, AKA Lady Moose is a very close friend to both Heather and Mike. Katie currently works in Naval Aviation and as a badass coach at CF Pax. The three met at their local gym where both Katie and Mike work as coaches. While all sharing a passion for fitness and health, other shared hobbies include good food, drinks and lots of high-fiving.
