Jeremy and Heather's love story began on the online dating platform Eharmony. After stumbling upon Heather's profile, Jeremy initiated a conversation by inquiring about her Fourth of July plans. He added a friendly note, "I am also a Patriots fan :)," which caught Heather's attention. After reading that line, she immediately went to his profile page. She got one glimpse of his smile and thought, "Oh, he's cute." Without hesitation, she promptly responded, and the rest, as they say, is history. Over the course of a few days, they engaged in lively text conversations and even progressed to FaceTime calls. Given the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, they both exercised caution when it came to meeting in person. When the time finally came for their first in-person date, they settled on a visit to a nearby park, Bass Lake, for a leisurely walk. On July 13, 2020, Jeremy arrived to pick up Heather for their date, bearing not only her beloved Dunkin' Donuts Butter Pecan Iced Coffee, but also a thoughtful gift—a mug adorned with "The Office." (their shared favorite show).
