Even if you don't go inside, take a walk around the museum and explore the lakefront. They're called the Great Lakes for a reason.
Fun place to explore or grab a snack right by the hotel. There's a great wine shop where you can sample at the bar. We love getting oysters from St. Paul Fish Company. Anodyne for coffee. And the Moravian wafers at C. Adam's bakery will rock your world.
Our friends Greg and Orry own this place and they have some outstanding Spanish/Portuguese-inspired food. Small place. Great for happy hour or dinner. Close to the hotel.
SUCH GOOD FOOD. and great wine and cocktails. This place is just all-around great. It is a butcher shop so the menu is meaty, but there are plenty of veggie options. The salads and soups are ridiculous. You should go.
Coffee is found here.
Heather's favorite building in Milwaukee. It's old and beautiful and German-looking (like many things in Milwaukee). It's worth a quick walk to look at it and go inside.
