We were introduced to one another by a mutual friend at the Gettysburg College dining hall during our first month of freshman year. Although our paths didn't intersect much for the first year after that initial introduction, we would get to know each other much better after we both declared History majors and moved into Gettysburg College's Civil War Era Studies dormitory, the Appleford Inn. As our friendship grew stronger, romance gradually blossomed, too, until in fall of our senior year we officially became an item.

In the middle of a power outage, by candlelight, after a delicious Valentine's Day meal out, Heather got down on one knee to ask Bryan to marry her...and he said yes! In lieu of an engagement ring for Bryan, Heather chose a wristwatch with matte black stainless steel and rosewood inlay. Following the proposal, we chose Heather's engagement ring and our wedding bands together.

For our honeymoon, we will be traveling to Orlando, FL. Heather grew up in Coronado, CA, so she's excited to branch out from the original Disneyland into the big leagues of Walt Disney World! Bryan, meanwhile, is dying to explore Galaxy's Edge, the new Star Wars land at Walt Disney World, and also has plans to drown himself in Butterbeer at Universal Studios.
