Cajun Country Swamp Tours
Abbie and Hillary went on a swamp tour with this company and had a BLAST! Very knowledgeable of the swamp and folklore. There's also several other swamp tours in the area. Bring a fan and some bug spray!
The Wurst Biergarten & Public Market
We LOVE this place! A great place in the heart of downtown to sit outside under the twinkly lights and try some local brews. Don't worry- they have fans going on blast in the summer time!
University of Louisiana at Lafayette
Come see where we first met and went to school! The only college campus with a swamp on it :) And yes, there are alligators.
Agave Mexican Grill & Cantina
The best margarita and queso in Lafayette! Also not far from our reception venue.
The Tap Room
Another great place for a snack and a nice drink. Close to our reception venue and hotels! After a few brews, take a stroll through the boutiques and shops at River Ranch.

A little far outside Lafayette (about 45 minutes). One of the things near Lafayette that we have always talked about doing but never done!
