I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you without complexities or pride; I love you because I know no other way than this.

It started nearly 6 years ago when Josh moved to Philly, got a job, and set up shop at a desk 10 feet away from Nikki's. We didn't realize it at the time, but it was impossible for us to stay away from each other. During meetings, Nikki would stare at Josh from across the conference table, while Josh would spend more time writing love notes (and finding places to hide them) than actually doing work... For months, we were discrete (or at least we thought we were..) meeting up for lunch dates in low lit bars and kissing in the elevator during coffee runs. We fell hard, and fast, leaving our old lives behind us to make room for each other. Since then, we've redesigned our lives around each other, taking massive steps toward the life of our dreams. We've seen more of the world in the last five years than in the rest of our lives combined. We both made huge moves in our careers, have found purpose in our passion projects, and show no signs of stopping when it comes to making our vision for our future a reality. We have already proven that together, we can achieve whatever we want for our lives, and it brings us closer together every day.

Prior to the pandemic, it had become a tradition not only to travel as much as possible, but to literally SEE as much of the world as possible, too. From Charlotte to Seattle, Chicago, and New York, we always hunt down the highest, most epic view of the city we are visiting to take it in before we tear it up. That's why, on May 29, 2019, at the top of the tallest building in Western Europe, Josh asked Nikki to be his. To see the world, to live in the moment, and to build the future we want for ourselves, our family, and our friends.
