Reims is the capital of Champagne. Guests would fly into Paris, France and take a train or drive from Paris to Reims. The TGV takes 35 minutes from Gare du Nord, and cost on average 40 euros. Cars can be rented at the airport and driving times can vary depending on traffic, but generally are around 1.5 - 2 hours. In Reims Centre, everything is walking distance. There is a Best Western and a Marriott downtown, and are the more modern and central hotels in the city. We would also highly recommend looking for apartments on Air BnB, which there are plenty of in and around the downtown area as well as can be a better value than a traditional hotel. Please remember, this city was around when Charlemagne was Emperor of Europe. That means rooms are small, buildings are old and your hair straightener will overheat the electrical system and explode!

There are a block of rooms reserved at this hotel starting at 200 Euros a night. For a Cathedral view, it is 230 Euros & for a larger balcony, 280 Euros. The block has flexible dates around the wedding, although it is a VERY busy time in the city, and will book quickly. Brand new, very modern and across the street from the Cathedrale de Notre Dame de Reims. It is also great for those Marriott members in the family ;)
