Golden Gate Transit

Golden Gate Transit offers ferry service between Sausalito and San Francisco. The ferry docks in downtown Sausalito, about five miles from Headlands Center for the Arts. There is no public transportation between Headlands and the ferry terminal, but there is a nearby taxi stand. You can schedule your trip with a taxi service in advance, as wait times can be long, and there is no cell service on Headlands’ campus.
