Ceremony start time is 5pm, so please please please arrive at least by 4:30pm so that everyone can be seated and comfortable before we begin! Parking is on-site.
Yes! We kindly request and encourage semi-formal attire. We will be wearing boots, so you are more than welcome to! For the gentleman, an example of this attire would be a button-up and jeans paired with a sports coat. It will be felt season, after all! Ladies, you are more than welcome to wear short or long dresses (or jumpsuits, skirts, pant sets, all that!) but for anyone wondering the bridesmaids will be in long dresses. We’d like to encourage everyone to coordinate with our color palette: rust, shades of orange, brown, cream/ivory, accents of pinks, yellows, and blues. Fall colors in their best form. No. Unfortunately, our venue is not conducive to children as there are several hazards including an unsupervised large pond and open fire-pit area. Please know, we still love you and your children and will miss their sweet presence on our big day. If this interferes with your ability to attend, please reach out to us so we can talk with you about it. We are deeply grateful for your understanding!
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside underneath a large grove of oak trees. Cocktail hour will commence afterward on the side of the building, under a covered porch. The reception will be indoors!
Please RSVP either online or via the physical card by August 20th. Guests who do not confirm their attendance by this date will be marked as not attending in consideration of our lovely vendors, and we will miss your presence!
Yes! We have reserved a hotel block at a local hotel with a discounted rate for our guests. Please visit the “Travel” tab of this website for all the details!
Yes! We are registered through Zola, which can be found grouped together by visiting the “Registry” tab on this website’s home page. One of the gifts listed there is a ‘Honeymoon Fund’ which we are accepting as an alternative to traditional gifts. Thank you for your generosity towards us, from the bottom of our hearts!
It depends! The pre-filled number on the physical RSVP card you received indicates how many spaces we have reserved for you. You can also search your name under the ‘RSVP’ tab to find the same information. As much as we would love to accommodate everyone, we must abide by our venue’s capacity rules.
We ask that you refrain from using your cell phone during our ceremony. We have hired a lovely photographer, Liza, to ensure we have beautiful memories of this time and are confident she will deliver. We would like everyone to be present in the moment. With that being said, snap away as many as you’d like during our reception! If you post on socials, please tag us or use the hashtag #HbarKwedding.
