There is no other person I would choose to be my matron of honor more than my sister Karen Joy. Since we were young children, we always had such a close bond. She is a loving, kind, dependable and such a fun person be around. If there is anyone who can get anything done and plan a great itinerary- it’s her. She is one of the most ambitious high achieving people I know and an inspiration to many others including myself to go after their dreams. I am incredibly grateful to have her in my life. She is a sister, confidant and best friend all in one and I couldn’t be happier.

My younger brother Ryann is a respectful, heartwarming and fun person to be around. He is understanding and compassionate to everyone he meets. He is a smart and creative individual who lives his life to the fullest extent. Despite our 8-year age gap, Ryann and I are incredibly close and can spend hours talking to each other on the phone if we aren’t together in person. When Karen and I were little girls, we always talked about wanting a baby brother and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect one.

My cousin Ria and I have always been incredibly close since we were young children. Til this day we still have hours long conversations and when were together it’s non-stop laughs and we can just be our crazy selves with no judgment. Ria is a compassionate and loving cousin who is the type of person who puts others’ needs before her own. She is reliable and trustworthy. We can always count on each other to be of support during the tough times and always excited and proud to celebrate each other’s highs and achievements.

My cousin Ann and I were pretty much raised together like sisters. We were always together daily as kids and still have a very close relationship. We get how each other thinks and just know what the other is always thinking! Cousin telepathy? Ann is a kindhearted, dependable and thoughtful person. She always has the best personalized gift ideas and the first person to wish anyone a happy birthday! Her lovable nature makes her someone you want to be around!

Ericka and Carlos have a close sibling relationship and are always there for each other though the good times and tough ones. Ericka is a caring, thoughtful, and attentive sister who you can talk to about anything. Her sense of humor and positivity keeps others in good spirits! Her creativity is remarkable and fascinating!

Carlos and Ricky have known each other since high school through this brother Luis “Bird” and have shared so many memories together fishing, off roading, going to the shooting range and camping. Ricky is a dependable, thoughtful and generous friend. He loves to host get-togethers and fun outings and always makes sure everyone is having a good time.

Carlos and Nick met each other in high school while being on the golf team and bowling team. They have always shared a close bond and together have gone on many outdoor camping, golfing and fishing adventures. They enjoy their “Call of Duty” game nights and are pretty much in touch almost daily! Nick is a trustworthy, caring and reliable friend you can always count on to have your back.

Although his physical presence is no longer with us, he will always be in our hearts. His memory will forever be cherished and loved. Carlos’ best friend and confidant – they were like brothers. They shared many memories together hanging out, working on cars, golfing, having BBQs, watching movies, going to Raider games and enjoying craft beer. Bird’s sense of humor was unmatched. Call him the life of the party if you will! His hospitable/caring nature, thoughtfulness and generosity made him someone everyone loved to be around. He was someone you can talk to about anything and everything! He will always be Carlos’ best man. RIP to one of the greatest people we so deeply loved.

Luis and Carlos are cousins who’ve always had a close relationship over the years. They’ve always accompanied each other during family trips/ outings, camping adventures and sporting events such as A’s and Raider Games! Luis is a very funny, outgoing and dependable cousin who is always down for anything! He’s always only one call away and never fails to show up for those he cares about!
