We first met at Nick and Ria Briggs' wedding rehearsal back in August 2016. Hazel was one of Ria's bridesmaids and Carlos was one of Nick's groomsmen. We were paired to walk down the aisle together and an instant connection sparked between us. We added each other on Instagram and communicated though the app which progressed to back-and-forth text messages. Texts turned into hours long phone conversations which turned into many dates and outings. We grew close to one another and established ourselves as a couple. We continued to get to know each other and spent the last few years traveling, going on outdoor adventures, having fun and spending lots of quality time together. For those who are familiar with the “5 Love Languages” we both view quality time as the most important :)
