FAQs

The Wedding Website of Hazel Barsatan and Immanuel King
We’ve tried to cover all the details here, but if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the bride — she’s happy to help with anything you need! Hazel's Phone Number: (808)341-6513 We can’t wait to celebrate with you soon! ✨
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people! To help us finalize our plans, please RSVP by February 14, 2026. If we don’t receive your RSVP by that date, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend and will miss you dearly. RSVPs made after February 14 may not be accepted, as we’ll be sharing our final guest count with our venue and caterer shortly after. Please use our online RSVP form to let us know whether or not you’ll be joining us—this helps us keep everything organized and ensures your response is counted. Thank you so much for your love, support, and timely replies! 💕

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We would absolutely love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, the reception is reserved for guests listed on the RSVP. We hope you understand! If you’re not on the reception guest list, you are still warmly welcome to join us for the ceremony and share in our special day. We can’t wait to see as many smiling faces as possible! ✨

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi-casual, so please wear something comfortable that makes you feel great! If you’d like to coordinate with our wedding colors, we’re loving pinks, light blue, green, and neutrals — but don’t worry too much about matching perfectly. Most importantly, wear something you feel happy in and ready to celebrate! ✨

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, the reception can only accommodate the guests listed on the RSVP by name. We completely understand that arranging childcare can be difficult, and we’re so sorry that some of your little ones won’t be able to attend. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you can still join us for the joy and celebration of our special day in whatever way works best for your family. ✨

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We feel so fortunate to have everything we need — and even more grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends. In lieu of a traditional wedding registry, we kindly ask that no physical gifts be given. If you wish to honor us with a gift, a monetary contribution would be deeply appreciated and will go toward saving for our future home. Your love, support, and presence on our special day mean the world to us — that’s truly the best gift of all! 🏡✨

Question

Are gifts expected if we can't attend?

Answer

We would be so grateful for any gifts, but please know that if you’re unable to attend, there is absolutely no expectation to send a gift — your love, support, and well wishes mean the world to us!

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved a room block at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki for our guests’ convenience — and you’re more than welcome to take advantage of it! Please note that rooms are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot. If the Hyatt room block is full, don’t worry! We’ve listed a few other hotel recommendations in the Waikiki area on the Travel page of our wedding website to help you find the perfect place to stay. We’re so excited to celebrate with you in paradise! 🌺✨

Question

Will there be seating at the ceremony/reception?

Answer

For our ceremony, we’ll have open (unassigned) seating—so feel free to sit wherever you’d like! We just ask that you arrive a little early to find your preferred spot and get comfortable before the celebration begins. At our reception, there will be assigned seating to help dinner service go smoothly and make sure everyone has a great place at the table. You’ll find your name and table number waiting for you when you arrive at the reception. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you! 💕

Question

Will there be parking at the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We’re happy to share that both our ceremony and reception venues have parking available for our guests! That said, the parking garage at the reception venue is a bit snug—especially for larger vehicles. If you’re local, we kindly recommend carpooling, using valet service, or catching a ride with Uber or Lyft to make things easier (and to avoid any parking headaches!). Thank you so much for planning ahead and helping everything run smoothly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎉

Question

Are there transportation options between the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception venues are about a 12-minute drive apart, so you’ll have just enough time to relax and enjoy the ride between events! To help make parking easy and stress-free, we recommend carpooling or using Uber/Lyft if possible. This way, everyone can focus on celebrating (and not circling the block for a spot!). Thank you for planning ahead and helping the day run smoothly — we can’t wait to see you there! 💕

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re so excited to have our special day captured by our amazing photography and videography team — and we know many of you will want to snap a few memories too! You’re more than welcome to take photos throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the celebration or get in the way of our professional photographers and videographers. If you’d like to take photos during the ceremony, we kindly ask that you be very discreet so everyone (including us!) can stay present in the moment. Thank you so much for helping us keep the day smooth, joyful, and full of love — we can’t wait to see your smiling faces (and maybe a few of your photos later, too)! 💕

Question

Will there be a cocktail hour?

Answer

After the ceremony, our vendors will need some time to transform the space and prepare for the evening celebration — so there won’t be a formal cocktail hour. In the meantime, we encourage everyone to enjoy all that Waikiki has to offer before the reception begins at 5:30 PM! Take a stroll along the beach, grab a bite or a drink at a nearby spot, do a little shopping, or simply relax and soak in the island views. Thank you for your understanding (and for keeping the celebration vibes going)! We can’t wait to see you again at the reception to continue the festivities. 💕🌺

Question

Will there be a photo booth and other activities?

Answer

We’re excited to make our wedding celebration full of joy and laughter! There will be a photo booth for you to capture fun memories throughout the evening, and a program featuring entertainment performed by our amazing family and friends. We can’t wait to celebrate, laugh, and make memories with all of you! 💕
