We're getting married!

Hazel was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of O'ahu. Her favorite foods are seafood and Asian cuisine. She loves to spend her free time playing games and listening to podcasts.

Immanuel was born in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii on the Big Island. His favorite foods are seafood and barbecue. He loves to spend his free time playing Fortnite and playing with his cat, Soju, with Hazel.

Hazel and Immanuel had a couple of classes at Kapiolani Community College but never talked to each other. They first met while attending online courses in 2021, and started talking during class, then added each other on Instagram. Immanuel responded to Hazel’s posts, hoping to strike up a conversation with her. After failed attempts, Hazel luckily responded to one of Immanuel’s posts, which led to them messaging about their shared interests in PC gaming. After a month of casual hangouts and messaging, Immanuel finally mustered up the courage to ask Hazel on a first date, which she gladly accepted. Needless to say, the first date was a success! They quickly became each other's best friend, then significant others and emotional support systems.

In April 2024, Immanuel informed all their loved ones that he was planning to propose to Hazel. Immanuel told Hazel's best friends he planned to propose to her within 5 days. Masha, Adrienne, Samantha, and Anastasia dropped everything to help Immanuel plan and set up everything for the proposal. Three days before their 3rd anniversary, Immanuel surprised Hazel with an anniversary gift to get a manipedi. On April 13, 2024, Immanuel and Hazel went on a dinner cruise with Star of Honolulu to celebrate their anniversary. The nerves of the proposal made Immanuel sick throughout the boat ride. Immanuel thankfully made it through the whole boat ride without vomiting. On the way back to Immanuel's house, Hazel trustingly allowed Immanuel to blindfold her for one more surprise. Immanuel led her to the back of the house, got down on one knee in front of their loved ones, and asked Hazel to marry him! Hazel eagerly said yes, and Immanuel put the engagement ring on her finger.
