Maid of Honor
Brittany and Heather met in 7th grade when Brittany transferred to Ramsey School District in 2002. Once Heather and Brittany started spending time together, they were inseparable. They both played volleyball together in school and Heather even convinced Brittany to learn to play the clarinet just so they could have another class together! Even after they graduated in 2008, Heather and Brittany managed to keep in touch all of these years and Brittany knew without a shadow of a doubt that Heather was going to be the maid of honor!
Best Man
Zach and Ryan have been close friends since 2005. It all began with Ryan inviting Zach to go to the Grace Youth Summer Camp that year. After praying about it, Zach decided to sign up and had the week of his life! Camp ministry has always been an important event for them as they grew in their walks with God through high school and college. Zach and Ryan kept their friendship going into their young adult years through accountability breakfasts, disc golfing, barbecues, and get togethers with friends! Zach is like a brother to Ryan and has been there for him through the toughest of times. Making him the best man was an easy decision.
Groomsman
Grant and Ryan have been friends since 2006. It all began when they were in the same small group in youth group! Ryan was a senior and Grant was a freshman. Their friendship has grown stronger since then through youth group, summer camp, many ultimate frisbee games, working out at the gym together, and hanging out with friends. They both served in the Czech Republic together on missions trips in 2008 and 2009, and that's when they became "Czech-mates!"
Bridesmaid
When Brittany used to work at a Daycare in 2020, she had Tori's daughter as one of her students! One day Tori messaged Brittany asking how many students were in the class so that she could send treats for a holiday party. They would occasionally talk about classwork and other business/school related subjects. One day, Brittany thought she was texting her Nana "love you" however she accidentally sent it to Tori, and Tori thought it was hilarious and responded with "Love You too!" Ever since then Tori and Brittany have become best friends. They frequently enjoy going to Starbucks, having a girl's day in Champaign, having brunch at Denny's, and talking about literally anything and everything!
Groomsman
Andrew and Ryan have been friends for the past 10 years. It all started when Ryan began his journey serving as a Jr. High Youth Pastor at Grace back in 2010 and Andrew was one of his 7th grade students! Ryan has seen Andrew grow up through the youth group and they have not only served in ministry together, but have grown to become great friends. Andrew has always put in the effort to keep Ryan involved with his church family, especially after difficult events back in 2016. They also share similar taste in movies, tv shows, and frisbee throwing!
Bridesmaid
One day my brother Zac, brought his girlfriend, Jaycie over to my parent's house to meet the family. I remember just thinking that Jaycie was so nice and so pretty and that my brother was so lucky to have someone like her in his life! Soon my nephew Jackson was born and a year later, Zac and Jaycie got married down in Gulf Shores which was Ryan and Brittany's first far away trip with the family! Jaycie was always so supportive of Ryan and Brittany's relationship and Jackson approved on day one after Ryan convinced him that an empty water bottle was literally the coolest toy in the world. I was so excited to ask Jaycie to be a bridesmaid because not only is she one of my newest friends, she is now my sister!
Groomsman
Josh and Ryan have been friends since 2011. They met on the ultimate frisbee field at YAMS (Young Adult Ministries) one night, shook hands, and have been great friends since! It must have been that contagious laugh of his. They share similar interests in music, ministry, worship, and sports. It gets a little competitive in their fantasy football league...just a little. They also served together on a missions trip to Mexico back in 2019!
Bridesmaid
Kathryn is a sister of Ryan Haggerty! Ryan was 5 years old when Kathryn was born. Growing up together they shared a love for video games, sports, and plenty of basketball games in the driveway. They enjoy spending quality time with family and the dogs. Brittany is looking forward to having a new sister in her life and being a part of the Haggerty family!
Groomsman
Caleb and Ryan have been friends since 2006. Like Grant, Caleb was also in his small group during youth group that year. They have been together through many Bible studies, serving at summer camp and Jr High youth group together, gatherings with friends, and lots of disc golf! Caleb has always been someone Ryan looks up to...he's a very tall man!
Bridesmaid
Mia Haggerty is also a sister of Ryan Haggerty! Ryan was 10 when Mia was born. They share a love the the great outdoors, playing video games together, spending time with family and the dogs. Brittany is super excited to have Mia a part of the wedding party, and looks forward to getting to know her new sister to be!
